Commercial Building Maintenance of Maryland not only offers janitorial services but also handyman services. We are often asked what our handyman services include and what a handyman really does? But the better question to ask is what can a Handyman NOT do?
What is a Handyman?
A handyman, by definition, is someone who is skilled with their hands and can easily fix and handle domestic repairs and minor renovations. If it breaks, they can fix it, and quickly with limited tools. That’s a tall order, but the right kind of person can fit this bill.
What Jobs Can a Handyman Do?
The list is long. Let’s go over the most common handyman jobs, and keep in mind that the handymen of CBM can really take on any task you might find yourself in need of.
- Patching Drywall
- Hanging Art, Televisions and shelving
- Ceiling Tile repair and replacement
- Furniture assembly
- Door installation
- Pressure washing
- Carpentry work
- Fixture repair
- Moving Heavy Objects
- and more.
What Jobs Won’t We Do?
We handle your maintenance jobs and fix what is broken, but what we don’t do are major projects. For example, if your toilet is clogged we’ll unclog it, but if your pipes are old and in need of replacing you should contact a plumber. If you have a light-switch not working we can probably correct that but need your whole office rewired? Well, that’s a job for an electrician. Keep in mind that if your contractors leave behind a mess or any light repair needs, THAT, we can handle.
Why Choose Our Handymen
We specially train our crews to be experienced to handle all building maintenance handyman jobs. That means they all have extensive training in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and more. Our crews are also required to be reliable and punctual, safe, and friendly, so you can feel comfortable asking them to handle any task and trust it will get done the correct way, in a reasonable amount of time, and with a friendly smile.
